BarbaraHayward.com (“Website”) is owned and operated by Barbara Hayward Photographer LLC (“Photographer”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information may be collected from you from this Website and, if so, how the Photographer uses this information.

The Privacy Policy may change, at the Photographer’s sole discretion. The Photographer will notify you of changes to the Privacy Policy by posting the revised Policy on the Website.  Any and all changes will be effective upon posting to the Website.

I.  What Information is Collected - Your name and email address (“Personal Information”) are only collected by the Photographer when you voluntarily supply it via the Website, through one or more of the Photographer’s online forms.  Further, to the extent you are registering your children for any classes, lessons or other similar educational opportunities with the Photographer, you may also be asked to supply the child’s age (also included in “Personal Information”).

If you contact us by email, the Photographer may retain your email address.

In some cases, The Photographer collects non-personal information, such as:

(a) The URL, or address, of the site you just came from;

(b) The type of Internet browser you are using;

(c)  Your Internet Protocol, or IP, address. An IP address is the string of numbers that identifies each sender or receiver of information that is sent across the Internet; and

(d) Cookies, namely, small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a website.  This information permits The Photographer to recognize you when you return to the Website. 

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can disable this function by changing the cookie profile on your computer’s web browser. If you disable or delete your cookies, however, you may not have access to certain features of The Photographer’s site.

II.  How Collected Information is Used - If you provide Personal Information to the Photographer, it will be used solely to respond to your request and otherwise dialog regarding the particular products or services for which you inquired.  Your Personal Information will not be shared with any third parties except in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, levy, attachment, order of a court appointed receiver, or other comparable legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action.  The Photographer does not sell or rent any Personal Information collected from the Website to any third party.  

As for cookies, as previously noted, this information permits The Photographer to recognize you should you return to the Website.  The Photographer does not share this information with any third parties.

III.  Links to Third Party Web Sites - This Website may, from time to time, contain links to other websites that the Photographer does not operate or control.   The Photographer is not responsible for the content or business practices of these sites and recommends that you review the terms of use and privacy policies for any and all sites that you visit.

IV.  Additional Considerations for California Residents - The California Civil Code requires a business with whom a California resident has an established business relationship to disclose to such residents upon their request: (1) the types of personal information the business shares with third parties for the third party’s marketing purposes, and (2) the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared this information during the immediately preceding calendar year.

As previously noted, the Photographer does not share your Personal information with any third parties except pursuant to a subpoena, warrant, court order, levy, attachment, order of a court appointed receiver, or other comparable legal process.  However, if you are a California resident and would still like to make such a request, please submit your request to:  studio@BARBARAHAYWARD.COM
